Information and Assistance 408-277-1292.  This is a place where injured workers can call to get information from a state employee who knows about workers’ compensation law.  Call the number, go through a computer menu, leave a message.  Someone should get back to you in 3 days. If they do not, call back.  Be kind and patient with these folks.  They are over worked and underpaid.  They all try to do a good job for the people who call.”
